Monitored Medication Dispenser
Prescription monitoring ensures that seniors remember to take the correct dosage at the right time. Often as a result of dementia, adverse affects of prescription drugs, or loss of memory, elderly patients misuse their medication. If the member does not take their medication with 30 minutes of their scheduled dose, our Rx Dispenser equipment will contact the Care Center at which point a customer care representative will call the member to remind them to take their medication. The Care Center will also notify the member’s caregiver or doctor of any non-compliance events.
